Red Ivy began his law practice in 1949 after graduation from the University of Oklahoma, following in the footsteps of his father, Harley Ivy and older brother James Harley Ivy of Waurika. Red successfully handled hundreds of civil and criminal jury and non-jury trials in both the state and federal courts. David K. Ratcliff became a partner with Red Ivy in August 1996 after serving as an associate for a number of years at two other law firms. April Chasteen joined the firm in July 1998 after serving as an associate for several years at another law firm. Red Ivy Passed away January 18, 1999, posthumously receiving his 50-year pin from the Oklahoma Bar Association.

David K. Ratcliff and April Chasteen have represented clients in hundreds of jury and non-jury trials as well as other litigation and non-litigation matters. Although most of their practice is located in Southwest and central Oklahoma, both have appeared in counties throughout the State of Oklahoma. They have obtained a number of significant verdicts as well as negotiated many other settlements advantageous for their clients. David K. Ratcliff was selected in 2003 as Grady County Favorite Attorney by the readers of Chickasha's Express-Star. Both David K. Ratcliff and April Chasteen have spoken before a number of groups because of their broad legal background.
